Preoperative period is a complex of diagnostic and preparatory measures. The duration of the preoperative period can vary from several days up to a few months, everything will depend on the clinical case, urgency of the surgery, etc.
Most of the activities of the diagnostic unit under planned operations at the MC Evviva are carried out on an outpatient basis.
The result of the preoperative period is the writing of the preoperative epicrisis, which reflects the justification for the diagnosis, indications for the proposed operative intervention and its scope, the presumed analgesia and the documented consent of the patient to the operation.
